50/50 :   The three largest TAGGED TROUT OVER 16 inches in length turned in alive will split the 50/50. Largest trout will receive 50% of the participant's share; second largest trout will receive 30% of the participant's share; and third largest trout will receive 20% of the participant's share. If you are interested in entering this 50/50 drawing you must register for the drawing BEFORE the Tournament starts at 6:00 am Saturday morning. Since we will be stocking twelve larger trout we feel the odds are really good that several of the large trout will be caught. However if at least three of these trout are not caught we will "roll over" the winners share of the 50/50 to next year's Tournament. This was not a problem in 2009 as seven tagged trout larger than 16" were turned in.

Food:   As before we will have two food stands open during fishing hours. We will be serving breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning starting at 4:00 am at a cost of $5.00 at the Mifflin County Youth Park.

COMMUNITY TROUT

We will also have a community trout again this year. The cost to participate is $1.00. If the trout tagged with the community trout number is caught, the fisherman will receive 100% of the money collected if he/she is participating in the contest in addition to the value of the tag. If the community trout is caught by someone not participating, the fisherman will receive the value of the tag only. If the community trout is not caught or is caught by a nonparticipating fisherman, the tournament committee will keep one-half of the money and the other half will be rolled over to the next year. If you would like to participate in the community trout contest, check the appropriate box on the application and enclose an additional $1.00 with your payment. You must sign up to participate prior to the start of the tournament. The community trout was caught in the 2009 tournament by David Houser, Jr. and he received an additional $577.00 for his efforts.
